The Plastic and Durability Performance of PVC Plasticizer

Phthalate-based plasticizers are the most added additives in polyvinyl chloride, however, it was found that the monomer-type plasticizer had poor migration resistance and potential carcinogenicity, which seriously affected the application performance and service life of the product. Polypropylene glycol adipate (PPA), epoxy soybean oil (ESO) and dioctyl phthalate (DOP) were compounded in this paper. The mechanical properties, plasticizing efficiency, thermal properties and durability of the plasticizer were investigated. The results show that the plasticizing efficiency of 40DOP/10PPA and 40DOP/10ESO is better than 110%, the performance of anti-extraction and anti-volatilization is much better than DOP, which can greatly reduce the glass transition temperature of PVC and improve its processing performance of PVC.

Copolymerization Modification of Poly (Butylene 2Methylsuccinate)

        Poly(butylene methylsuccinate) (PBMS) was prepared using methylsuccinc acid (MSA) and 1,4butanediol (BD) as raw materials. On this basis, the new copolyesterpoly(butylenes terephthalatecobutylene methylsuccinic acid) (PBMT) was synthesized via melt polycondensation from adding dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) to PBMS. The intrinsic viscosity, molecular weight, acid value, hydroxyl value, chemical structure and thermal properties were investigated by means of ubbelohde viscometer, FTIR, 1HNMR, DSC and TGA. The results showed that the intrinsic viscosity and molecular weight reached the maximum while the acid value and hydroxyl value reached the minimum under the conditions that n(DMT+MSA)/n(BD)=1.00∶1.08, n(DMT)/n(MSA)=1∶1. The best copolyester can be synthesized when TBOT and zinc oxide were used as complex catalyst. FTIR and 1HNMR demonstrated that the PBMT was synthesized successfully. DSC and TGA revealed that the thermal property of PBMT had greatly improved compared with PBMS.

Identification for High Power Amplifiers With Memory

An adaptive identification method was proposed to estimate for the characteristics of high power amplifiers (HPA) with memory in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) communication systems. The complex Wiener-Hammerstein model (WHM) was adopted to describe the input-output relationship of unknown HPA and a power series model with memory (PSMWM) was used to approximate the HPA expressed by WHM in base-band. Furthermore,the orders of PSMWM were chosen by Akaikes information criterion (AIC), and the RLS algorithm was used to estimate parameters of HPA in on-line manner. Finally,the effectiveness and fast convergence of the proposed identification method are validated by numerical simulation example.
